Hopefully, something in our site brought a smile to your face during your visit. If so, we have achieved our purpose. We do, however, invite you to go a little further and invest in future smiles
by supporting the nation's historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU's). Institutions
which have been preparing Black folk, young and old, rich and poor, for their times since 1837. Across America,
thousands enjoy lifestyles and "smiles" made possible by the quality educations received at these institutions. In many cases,
as the doors of segregated institutions their tax dollars supported, were firmly closed to them.
|
Today, HBCU's continue to perform an essential role in the survival, prosperity, and "smiles" of the Black community. For a myriad of reasons, "majority" colleges and universities, while
theoretically open to all, remain beyond access by many students in our community. As they have in years past, HBCU's continue to provide paths to the realization of the most fragile of
dreams. Staffed by dedicated educators and professionals, these institutions continue to perform "minor miracles" with each graduating class.

Our plan is simple, small steps taken by many, ... "THE POWER OF WE". Donate $1, $3, or $5, and we guarantee that an average minimum of 90 cents of each dollar donated reaches the coffers
our designated scholarship and charitable funds. Additionally, a portion of the funds we receive will be donated to non-profit, charitable organizations working in Black communities across the country.
Thanks for your interest in our endeavor. This portion
of the site is still under construction. We are fervently working toward its completion.
While we get our act together, we urge you to share your smile, bookmark our homepage, and visit our Links Page
(please consider making donations to the sites found there).
If you enjoyed any of the music heard on the site and would like to purchase, please use these links. All proceeds derived from such purchases will be donated to the EbonySmiles Foundation.
